, Please enter Vital Sign Information.

(Patients please read the following before entering data in the fields below)

The following fields are available for patients to use to record the vital signs and/or lab readings to log their readings over time. This data is available for patients to review by selecting the "Vital Sign History" tab. Patients are not required to enter all fields but only those that are requested by the doctor or at their discretion. Patients are encouraged to enter multiple readings for the same day if necessary. For example, if you are interested in only logging your glucose readings from your daily blood testing using the finger prick method then only enter this reading and select submit. To enter another reading on the same day simply enter the second reading and submit. Also, if you are interested in entering test results from previous dates simply select the appropriate date and enter the data. The data will be entered and viewed in the Vital Sign History. This data will be downloaded into Dr. Sprecher's database for follow-up consultation and/or recommendations during office visits.

The following two tests are measured through urine testing by patients at home using a urine test kit available at most CVS and Walgreen locations. The test kit is called Keto-Diastix (Reagent Strips for Urinalysis). The process required to enter scores in the following two fields is as follows:
  1. Purchase the test strips from your local CVS or Walgreens location
  2. Enter your user name and password into the www.spacechiro.com website and select the Vital Signs button.
  3. Take the test strip and the test strip container with the color reading chart on the exterior of the container into the restroom
  4. Wash and dry your hands
  5. Remove one test strip from the container
  6. While urinating place the test strip in the urine stream towards the end of urination until the test strip has been saturated in the urine stream, remove the test strip from the urine stream and start counting to fifteen (15 seconds). Finish urinating and place the reagent test strip close to the colored Ketone scoring on the exterior of the container and match the color of the test strip at the end of fifteen seconds. Remember this reading.
  7. Count for another fifteen seconds and place the test strip next to the colored Glucose scoring on the exterior of the container and match the color of the test strip at the end of fifteen seconds. Remember this reading.
  8. Properly dispose of the reagent test strip
  9. Wash and dry your hands
  10. Enter both readings on the www.spacechiro.com – Vital Signs - Ketone and Glucose fields from the pull down menus (enter submit if not entering additional Vital Signs data or enter additional information and submit)
